Cast-on Tutorial for ‘English Gum’

One of the best techniques I learned at the Nihon Vogue knitting school is called ‘English Gum’. It creates a very nice and flexible ribbed (knit/purl) piece, which I use for woolly hats or socks, but also for cuffs in sleeves and a recent in a cardigan.
