Knitting lesson at Todoroki shelter

One of my knitting students told me about a refugee shelter in Kawasaki, not far from my home. This morning, I visited them about scheduling a knitting class.

The people at the reception were very friendly. They showed me the facility and event rooms. For a beginning, we have scheduled 2 knitting classes on May 24th and June 7th. I will bring wool, needles and instructions, but will also prepare some kits to leave at the shelter.
