According to the Chinese calender, 2012 is the ‘Year of the Dragon’. The Chinese New Year is symbolized by a new animal zodiac, determined by a 12-year cycle. Last year was the Year of the Rabbit. Those born under the sign of the dragon are regarded as innovative, passionate people who are colorful, confident and fearless. A Japanese knitter (and I guess she must be a dragon herself) has sent me several cute knitted dragons.
45 woolly hats, 26 pair of socks, 10 scarves, a lot of crocheted flowers, 4 amigurumi and 1 jacket – that’s what I found when I opened box No. 3. So many beautiful items, made with a lot of love and attention to detail.
